Pavilion Presskit: 10/9/02 Press Release

October 10, 2002

For Immediate Release:
Project Bananarama Has Unique Message, International Scope

Pavilion, an independent group dedicated to changing public perception about plurality -- multiple personality -- is on an international roll.

"Operation Bananarama" began in July 2002 as a way to get information on non-disordered multiplicity to university professors, mental health professionals and any other interested parties.

Initially, a simple brochure was mailed to clinicians who were members of the International Society for the Study of Dissociation. The society was originally founded to study multiple personality.

Now, the brochure is going out to to college faculty and professionals in many areas of mental health.

Pavilion's mission is to promote redefinition and societal acceptance of multiplicity as a state of being, while not interfering with the rights of those who want professional assistance. The "What is Multiplicity" brochure is accompanied by a cover letter explaining the brochure and inviting further contact.
